6 years after the release of Pokémon Go, the absence of a Generation 3 Pokémon is a matter of debate. Where did Kecleon go?
Niantic is doing a remarkable job of fleshing out its flagship game Pokémon Go. In fact, more than 700 Pokémon are available in the must-have mobile game, a considerable portion of the full roster.
Of course, it’s the newer Pokémon that are often missing, and usually end up appearing in waves at particular events.
However, a real mystery persists around a third-generation Pokémon: Kecleon is the only Pokémon in its genraiton not to appear in Pokémon Go, and trainers are seriously beginning to wonder if it will ever arrive.
“Niantic will never let us have Kecleon”
On August 6, 2022, a veteran trainer posted on Reddit a list of Pokémon still missing in Pokémon Go. Unsurprisingly, Pokémon from the first two generations have all been implemented on the mobile game.
