No Nintendo Switch 2 according to Nintendo’s director

Nintendo’s president has apparently put to rest rumors that a new Nintendo Switch system will be revealed in the coming months.

Nintendo president Shuntaro Furakawa revealed that the company is still focused on meeting sales targets for the Nintendo Switch, despite rumors of a new console being announced in the coming months.

Speaking in a new article from Nikkei, the company will focus on producing enough Switch units to have stock ready during the latter part of 2022.

Nintendo commits to producing the Switch until 2023
