Highly anticipated by fans of the world of the famous wizard Harry Potter, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy has finally begun to reveal itself through a PlayStation State of Play on March 17, 2022.
During the event, we were able to find out that the studio developing the game, WB Games Avalanche sought to include all the elements from the books and movies that franchise faithful would be able to recognize instantly.
But the studio went even further than what we know of the iconic Hogwarts castle and its school grounds.
In Hogwarts Legacy: The Hogwarts Legacy, players will be able to explore vast regions while mastering a variety of spells and uncovering mysteries inside and outside the beloved wizarding school.

What is the subject of the plot?
While the universe is clearly inspired by that of the Harry Potter novels written by J.K. Rowling, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy will, however, take place years before the birth of the famous wizard, specifically during the 1800s.
After creating your character, you’ll need to take the Magic Chooser test to determine which house (Gryffindor, Slytherin, Slytherin, or Hufflepuff) you will belong to during your adventure.
During your journey, you will have to attend traditional Hogwarts classes in order to progress as a wizard, but you will also have to fight the rebellion of goblins with dark magic.
A fantastic open world
We knew that Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy would take players through various locations like Hogsmeade or the Forbidden Forest, but players will also be able to discover a wide world filled with wonders.
Able to move around with your broom or on foot, Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy will offer an open-world experience that will transport players to new locations around the school.
The surrounding areas will be filled with small villages with vendors, puzzles, NPCs with missions, and even enemy encampments just like in a real open-world environment.
Of course, Hogwarts Castle has been fully replicated in every detail.
The gameplay of Hogwarts Legacy
Since Hogwarts Legacy is an action-RPG game, then this one will feature many combat phases.
Using the well-known spells of the wizarding world, you will be able to cast them and combine them with others to fight your opponents.
You will also be able to counter enemy attacks, dodge them with a roll or else with a little teleportation.
To help you in certain perilous situations, you can also use the environment to attack your enemies by lifting barrels, rocks, weapons and more.
Will Hogwarts Legacy be playable in multiplayer?
Although information is scarce on the subject, it currently appears that Hogwarts Legacy: Hogwarts Legacy will not feature a multiplayer mode like other action-RPG games like Horizon Forbidden West or God of War Ragnarok for example.
