As Modern Warfare 2’s kickoff draws near, the Call of Duty community is eagerly anticipating the chance to finally change the playing field. Hopefully before the end of October, they’ll have multiple opportunities to see what this new opus has in store.
The arrival of early access to the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign has been confirmed
On August 16, Activision announced on the franchise’s official website that players would be getting an early access period for the Modern Warfare 2 campaign, news that has players excited especially since with so many familiar faces expected to appear in the Campaign, it’s safe to say that the developers are more than ever eagerly awaited by players.
Thankfully, they will be able to enjoy the entire Campaign before this new opus kicks off on October 28.
When will the Modern Warfare 2 Campaign early access begin?
The Modern Warfare 2 Campaign early access period will begin one week before the game’s launch on October 20. This will allow players to experience all that the campaign has to offer before jumping into the multiplayer mode on October 28.
Players will take control of Task Force 141 and team up with Mexican special forces to counter a most imminent threat. In the past, players have been given a sneak peek at the “Dark Water” mission, but they’ll be able to discover much more through early access to the campaign.
