Warzone 2 release date reportedly leaked

With the imminent arrival of the final season of Warzone, the Call of Duty community has been eagerly awaiting news about Warzone 2, especially regarding its release date. Thanks to a leaked document, it looks like they finally got their wish.

With Modern Warfare 2 scheduled for release on October 28, while Warzone’s final season kicks off on August 25, the Call of Duty community was lost in conjecture about Warzone 2’s release window.

Given that Activision is working on both titles on a common engine and that the developers have already dropped some information about the battle royale 2.0, many have deduced that it could arrive shortly after Modern Warfare 2.

While Activision continued its radio silence regarding Warzone 2’s release date, a leaked document reportedly revealed Warzone 2’s tentative release date. In no time the screenshots of this document went viral, being shared en masse on Reddit as well as on social networks.

What is the release date of Warzone 2?

According to the leaked document, Warzone 2 is expected to be released on November 16, less than a month after Modern Warfare 2’s release. So players won’t have to wait long to enjoy this new experience.

At this time, Activision has yet to confirm a launch date, but given the problems the developers faced with the launch of Warzone Pacific just before the 2021 holiday season, it’s no surprise to see that they’ve revised their copy for Warzone 2.

This launch, which would occur well before the holidays, should give the developers enough time to fix any unexpected bugs and issues that are likely to arise before the majority of the development team goes on vacation.

The icing on the cake, on the document we can see the release dates for several Activision titles, including WoW and Diablo. However, as always, until Activision makes an official statement, this information should be taken with a grain of salt.
