Following the leak of several of her songs on SoundCloud, TikTok’s rising star Addison Rae warmly thanked her fans for their enthusiasm.
Addison Rae launched on TikTok in July 2019 and quickly became one of the most popular personalities there. Three years later, the young woman has more than 88 million subscribers on the popular app, a notoriety that has allowed her to branch out.
In particular, she landed a multi-movie deal with Netflix after starring in her first film “He’s Too Good,” released in August 2021 on the SVOD platform . As if that wasn’t enough, she launched her own makeup line, collaborated with popular brands and recently even took her first steps into the music industry.
Unreleased Addison Rae songs have been leaked on SoundCloud
In early August 2022, several unreleased Addison Rae songs were leaked on SoundCloud. A total of 10 songs appeared on the platform, which is akin to an entire album.
Contrary to what one might have thought, the tiktokeuse was thrilled with the leak, which allowed songs that had been left out to come out into the open.
“I love that some of the songs I’ve done that I would never have let see the light of day are people’s favorites,” she said. “I’m thankful for the people who support me (and even the ones who don’t) and who are also kind to others. You reap what you sow, so be kind.”
Embarrassed by these songs, many voices were raised demanding that despite her reticence, Addison should still officially release her songs.
“Please reconsider”, one fan pleaded.
“I have a full top five! You should reconsider entering the music industry!”, said another fan.
Despite Addison Rae’s reticence, there’s no doubt that her fans are under the spell of her songs. While many tiktokes are pursuing a music career on the side while on social media, who knows, Addison Rae might end up following suit for good.
